She had a week earlier pulled him out of the Genesee county shelter and had him at her home. We readily said yes, giving our home a pug again. Chewy was distrustful to everyone he met, including April. But for some reason, when he came into our home, he took an instant liking to me. He would follow me everywhere I went. Our bond grew stronger and I realized that I couldn't watch him go to a new home, so Linda and I decided to adopt him into our family."
Chewy had leg perthes and a collapsing trachea. As he got older, both of these took their toll. Paul took Chewy everywhere …carried him when needed…hand fed him…etc. Chewy couldn't have found a better human!!! He was a special little boy and will be missed by many!
