Doodee

Pugnacious "Doodee" Hoeppner was a $50 pug with no papers and parents who were siblings. Before we knew that wasn't a good situation, she taught us that it doesn't matter where you come from--it's what you do with what you have. She taught us about pugs. She made us laugh with her "love is good but food is better" philosophy. When she was 7, the back half of her body began to fail her. By the time she went to go to the bridge two months shy of her 15th birthday, she had taught us all that despite severe handicaps, there's much more to life than disabilities. She taught us that you adapt and then go on with life. She was a sweetheart, and we miss her.
