Maria was the light of Nancy Jester's life! After Nancy passed away last year, her partner, Jean Lumbert, took over. Maria became Jean's bed partner. She and Swin, their 4 yr old black pug were great buddies and would always go outside together! I remember when Terri Smith was dying and he held her and could not get over how soft she was! She was soft and real cuddly with a wonderfully mushy face!
She had had health problems and was being lovingly taken care of for the last few years. Jean noticed a problem with her breathing and took her to the vet and a growth was found. She got a shot and perked up a bit for a short time. She crossed over the Rainbow Bridge into Nancy arms on Oct 5, 2007 at 3:30 pm.
