Mugsy came into the rescue with his sister Maude. It was hoped that they could be adopted into a home together since they had been together since birth. Unfortunately this didn't happen and Maude was adopted out several months after coming into the rescue. Mugsy stayed in his foster home for over a year and was a complete gentleman to have around. A wonderful couple did end up adopting Mugsy. His new home was absolutely beautiful with lots of fields to run in and a little stream to chase critters around. Mugsy got to go to school with his new "parents" and visit the kids there and he got to spend a lot of time with grandkids that dearly loved him. Very shortly after going to his new home, Mugsy was diagnosed with a very aggressive lymphatic cancer. He had up and down days. Mugsy got to go camping over the Memorial Day weekend and had a great time but after the weekend he got increasingly worse and the decision was made to let him go on June 2. His family will miss him dearly - he became a big part of the family in a very short time and they so much appreciated the little bit of time that they did get to spend with him. Your family and your foster parents love you Mugsy and you will be greatly missed!
