Angell’s Helen of Troy (Smidgen)
April 2000 - September 2008

Midge joined our family to be "Dad’s pug" while her grandma Marcy was Mom’s best buddy. She had a face that could melt any heart, hence her name. She became Bob’s computer pug, lying on his lap for hours beside his laptop. She was everybody’s playmate, and often read our minds! Midge died very suddenly in late September. She vomited once and progressed to bloody diarrhea, dying in only seven hours, before the vet’s first gastro shot even wore off. We all needed a long time to be able to write this good-bye. We think possibly God needed a pug who could play fetch, track like a bird dog, and warble like a bird. There certainly could be no other Midge!.
